Hotly anticipated blockbusters are aplenty over the next 30 days, from dinosaur epic Jurassic World; to espionage spoof starring the hilarious Melissa McCarthy Spy; to Minions, the children's film that every adult I know seems to be looking forward to with unapologetic glee.
Then there's the latest Nicholas Sparks romantic tear-jerker The Longest Ride; National Theatre musical featuring Olivia Colman and Tom Hardy, London Road; and Ian McKellan's turn as the famed British detective Sherlock Holmes in Mr. Holmes. It's a pretty varied month, but aren't they the best ones?!
All films below are released in cinemas in June in the U.K.: some may have already opened abroad so if you're outside the U.K. then do check your local cinemas for film times and release dates.

After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor's interest, which backfires horribly."
LONDON ROAD

"London Road documents the events of 2006, when the quiet rural town of Ipswich was shattered by the discovery of the bodies of five women. The residents of London Road had struggled for years with frequent soliciting and kerb-crawling on their street. When a local resident was charged and then convicted of the murders, the community grappled with what it meant to be at the epicentre of this tragedy."

SLOW WEST
Friday 26th June 2015
"A young Scottish man travels across America in pursuit of the woman he loves, attracting the attention of an outlaw who is willing to serve as a guide."
Well this is all a bit exciting isn't it?! I'm currently in the process of booking tickets for Jurassic World (it rivals the Cornetto Trilogy as one of my favourite franchises and I'm a massive dinosaur fan...), and I simply cannot wait for Spy. I'm also hugely intrigued by Shooting for Socrates, London Road and Slow West, so hopefully it'll be a pretty impressive month at the cinema.
