I've also got to mention men's fashion. Eccentric outfits were donned by Macklemore (vibrant blue ... cape?), Will Ferrel (Anchorman mustache and dollar-adorned suit) and Snoop Lion (there are no words), but there were plenty of examples of more normal, well dressed men.
TOM HIDDLESTON
ZACHARY QUINTO
EDDIE REDMAYNE
Notable mention has to go to Kim Kardashian, who has been displaying an appalling sense of style throughout all of her pregnancy, but somehow managed to look vaguely presentable last night. Showing off her new curves in all the best ways, she rocked a Saint Laurent LBD and a side-swept fringe. Job well done, Kim! However, although it may be acceptable for a Kardashian, it's certainly not for a Best Dressed list, sorry.

I'm pretty happy with them! Although it had its faults I did really enjoy The Avengers, and I'm so glad Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence received even more recognition for Silver Linings Playbook. If you haven't seen Pitch Perfect yet then you must: it's acca-awesome, and Django Unchained literally blew my mind - definite contender for a spot in my top 5 films... All in all, I'm impressed! And only one award for Twilight? Perfect.
Biggest WTF-moment of the awards: Parks and Recreation star Aubrey Plaza pulling a Kanye West and interrupting Will Ferrel as he accepted his award for Comedic Genius. He played it off well, saying: "Aubrey Plaza, everyone. Just like we rehearsed it. Perfect, it was perfect. Not too long, not too short. Right on the money." She was later asked to leave by the producers. How awkward!

So... Thoughts? What did you make of the hits and misses on the Red Carpet? Were the winners who you expected?
