New York Fashion Week: February 2014

New York Fashion Week is currently in full swing, and the snow and arctic conditions have not deterred the world's most stylish having their fix of Ready-to-Wear A/W14-15 fashion.

So far there have been numerous highlights, with my personal favourites including:

There's no question that these designs showcase the exceptional talent and diversity of the fashion industry, each fashion house displaying a unique and inspired collection. However, for me, Rodarte really take the top spot so far this season. Why? 2 words: Star Wars.

The Rodarte sisters of Laura and Kate Mulleavy chose to close their collection with 5 gowns featuring classic Star Wars images, from Yoda to C3PO to Luke Skywalker himself. Absolute genius.

The rest of the collection was brilliant too, but there's no two ways about it: these Star Wars themed dresses totally won NYFW.
